About
Sumanth Mothkuri is a problem solver who turns toil into automation. An SRE turned Platform Engineer and now evolving into an AI Engineer, he has spent five years building the unglamorous plumbing that keeps engineers shipping in one of the most regulated environments in tech, including pipelines, monitoring systems, and agentic workflows. As a Senior Platform Engineer at Equifax, Sumanth works across GCP, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and the agent stack, including ADK, MCP integrations, and custom AI agents. His background as a full-stack developer informs how he builds for the humans on the other side of the platform. He holds Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer and Generative AI Leader certifications. Outside of work, Sumanth is on a mission to visit all 50 U.S. states, with 29 down and 21 to go. He can often be found hiking, cooking ambitious vegetarian fusion meals, or hunched over a Lego build, fueled by coffee from his meticulously engineered home brewing station.
