About
Eric has dedicated his career to helping ensure digital experiences are accessible and usable for people of all abilities, across a wide range of devices and circumstances. As a Senior Accessibility Designer at GitHub, he works to make that vision a reality. Before joining GitHub, Eric worked on government design systems, product consulting, and regional news websites. Those experiences reinforced the human-facing impact of design methodology and front-end code. He is also a maintainer of The A11Y Project, a contributor to MDN Web Docs, and a frequent writer and speaker on digital accessibility and inclusive design. When he’s not working on accessibility, he’s probably playing with his adorable dog, Chicken.
