About

Donia Chaiehloudj is a Software Engineer at Isovalent and a member of the technical community advocacy team, where she focuses on open source, developer education, and sharing practical knowledge through talks, workshops, and technical content. She contributes to the Cilium project, working at the intersection of Kubernetes, Linux networking, and eBPF to improve how distributed systems are secured and observed at runtime. Donia is the co-author of Learn Go with Pocket-Sized Projects and has a strong interest in building developer tooling in Go, particularly in networking and observability. Her work focuses on making complex systems more accessible and actionable for developers. An active member of the developer community, Donia organizes meetups, speaks at conferences, and contributes to initiatives such as Women Techmakers and CNCF diversity programs. She also hosts the WHAT06 podcast, a local initiative focused on sharing stories and experiences from the tech community, and occasionally contributes to the eCHO podcast. Outside of engineering, she enjoys sewing, playing the clarinet, and exploring new hiking trails.
